Pastor Curtis and Sallie White began their journey over a decade ago after relocation to the Hampton Roads area through the United States Air Force. Their redemptive story took root in the Newport News Potters House where they were powerfully saved and began to serve within the local congregation.
After getting married, they continued to serve jointly within the church. For more than ten years, Curtis led the Song Service Ministry, served on the Newport News Church Council, and shepherded small groups as a Bible Study leader, while Sallie poured into worship teams, nurtured little ones in the nursery, served in follow-up ministries, and helped plan numerous church events. In the Newport News Church, they labored for revival and witnessed firsthand how God transforms lives when His people step out in faith.
In 2025, God opened a new chapter in the City of Hampton. The Whites were called to take over, pastor and labor amongst a growing community of believers. They count it a privilege to serve The Potter's House Hampton and they invite you to join them in reaching Hampton with the truth, love, and light of the gospel!
